It all started with one lonely Roland SP-404. Broken, dirty and hastily thrown in the back of a pawn shop shelf.

I brought it home for $150, cleaned it up, changed its screws and backplate, then put it up on all the online marketplaces. Plucked from obscurity, it was given new life.

A week later, a gentleman in the UK purchased it, someone who could truly appreciate and enjoy its offerings, just like I did. Who knows what sick beats it will feature on? Drill, Boom-Bap, or Lofi R&B? Either way, it’s bringing the love and joy of music to someone all the way across the Atlantic Ocean, where it would have otherwise remained on that dusty pawn shop shelf.
